How do we Utilize Our Team’s Skills?

  • Welcome to Renew Health, with three facilities conveniently located in Whiteville, Tabor City, and Elizabethtown. At our offices, we are dedicated to helping you get back to pain-free living by utilizing a cutting edge approach to physical therapy. We value our practice on consistency and attention to your personal treatment plan, from evaluation to discharge. You can rest assured that your care team, composed of both DPTs and PTAs, will be working together with the same skill set to provide you the best treatment possible.

What is The McKenzie Method?

  • The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) is a world renowned highly specialized approach to diagnosing and treating mechanical musculoskeletal pain and disorders. We evaluate and treat your pain and symptoms by identifying the pattern of symptom response to position and movement. The assessment leads directly into the treatment and we teach you how to use the therapeutic movement to correct the problem. We utilize manual techniques to assist the process.

Why Does Our Team Use This Process?

  • The key to the success of this approach is finding trained clinicians, such as the ones we have here, who can identify the reductive movement that is right for your symptoms. We also believe in providing extensive education so that you understand the problem and can participate in the treatment.
